For events, the 6 hour booking includes set-up and pack-down, and due to our permit restrictions, these times MUST be adhered to strictly - we will work with you to ensure your runsheet reflects this, and there are no exceptions to this.
We require a runsheet of your event - timeframes for this depend on the type of event you’re holding - and we’ll work with you around this.

FUNERALS
For events with a short lead time, such as a funeral, we will work closely and intensely with you to ensure everything is sorted out as quickly as possible. To that end, we will outline a draft runsheet with expected deadlines for elements you may choose such as AV, catering and numbers.
Please note that for funerals we require an RSVP system to be used, and will give you a template for this to give your client. We do NOT accept funeral bookings where an RSVP system isn’t used, but we are here to ensure you can offer this with confidence.
WEDDINGS
Once you make your booking, you’ll receive a pack of lots of useful information to help you plan a successful event and a draft runsheet that includes deadlines for decisions around various elements.
Please note we are available by email 12 weeks prior to your event for general queries, and then via phone for more intensive support 8 weeks prior to your event. Outside these timeframes, we do not guarantee immediate communication or responses to non-urgent requests. Should you require this sort of intensive communication you may wish to consider a wedding planner or a venue more suited to this style of nuptial.

We offer payment via bank transfer and credit card. If you’d like to pay cash, please drop us a line to discuss.
We require a deposit of 20% to be paid at the time of booking, with payment in full 48 hours prior to your event; additional bar charges such as a bar tab must be paid prior to the event beginning on the day.

We understand that in a space of revelry some mess might happen. A glass might be dropped, a cigarette butt may find its way underfoot in the garden - this is just normal event stuff.
If however there is damage to our space, a crazy wild mess, a toilet jammed with a roll of toilet paper care of a wild toddler - those things will attract a fee based on the cost to clean and repair, and the admin hours taken to fix the issue.
We’ll ask you to sign a contract that states that you understand and accept this.

Rescheduling your event further than 72 hours out is subject to a discussion with us and availability for the new date - your deposit will be held.
Cancelling 72-48 hours out: 75% of the total fee is due to be paid.
Cancelling 48 hours or less: 100% of the total fee is due.
